Western Medicine Tutor
We currently have a vacancy for a Tutor for the Western medicine stream which is integrated into several of the modules of our BSc and MSc in Acupuncture. Candidates will have a background in biomedicine, usually as a health-care practitioner, preferably with a teaching qualification.
Contract: This is a permanent part-time role.
Remuneration: Starting salary is £22,616 to £26,728 pro-rata, dependent on experience, and tutors are paid double-time.

Volunteer Fundraiser
An interesting opportunity has arisen to join the Northern College of Acupuncture, an educational charity established in 1989. Becoming a volunteer can be a very rewarding and valuable experience. The benefits of volunteering include the opportunities to develop new skills, to take on new challenges and meet new people, whilst helping to support a worthwhile cause. The Volunteer Fundraiser will help to generate income from charitable trusts, individuals, companies, and gift aid. The post would be ideal for anyone looking to gain experience to obtain employment in fundraising and able to commit 3 - 6 hours per month. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, hard working, and reliable, and will enjoy working as part of a team. You will be an excellent researcher and be able to communicate effectively in writing, over the phone and face to face. You must be computer literate and able to use the internet, Microsoft Word and Excel. The role is varied and includes researching charitable trusts, companies and other grant-making bodies. Travelling expenses will be paid.
